Problems of Capitalism & Socialism
A second series of this magazine has just been launched, which is to deal in a mainly archival manner with the debate on workers' control in the 1970s that centred on the Bullock Report. It also intends to deal with the Miners' strike which destroyed the NUM and left the Labour Movement wide open to a Thatcherite takeover.

Workers' Control
Is there any strategy for achieving workers' control that might be relevant to current state of British politics?

The Bullock Report
In mid-1975, after promises made in the two elections of the previous year, the Labour Government in parliament announced the setting up of a Committee of Inquiry into Industrial Democracy which was chaired by Ernest Bevin's biographer, Alan Bullock. The new series of "Problems of Capitalism and Socialism" has much material from the evidence to Bullock, from Trades Unions, Employers and political parties. And much comment on all this. Any more comment on all this?
